For these who like Black & White here’s something a home office design just for you.
Remember that even if black is your favorite colour it is very hard to work in a totally black environment. Most designs you see in designer magazines are just for promotional purposes. Few of them are actually good for living (unfortunatly).
Be sure you have the right balance for black or vivid colors as working or living in such environments for long periods of time is hard. I know you will probably don’t agree because you really like these colors but this is a statistical proven fact. Colors have a big influence on our mood and frequent exposure tobig amounts of particulars colors can have a bad effect on us.
I love white tables especially if you have a creative job, it’s like a canvas – you’re not influenced by any colors.
These green plants are good but the whole atmosphere looks a litle beet too cold (warm colors are not used at all). What do you feel? Does this office design need a little bit of a warm color? (we would suggest Orange). The cold effect is reinforced by the semi-transparent glass from the shelves/closets.
One solution for balancing the cold and warm in this home office would be to have the lamps yellow or orange so when the lights would be turned on the room would be even more cosy.
