Aeron Chair by Herman Miller – A Symbol of an Industry

Chairs are important in an office mostly because not using a good chair can make you ill for life.

Today we’re talking about the Aeron chair from Herman Miller. There are a lot of chairs out there, only a few of them are actually good and Aeron is famous for being acclaimed as the choice for office designs.

Aeron is used in some of the most prestigious big companies offices and it is not cheap, but it is good. There are other alternatives but not as world-wide recognized.

Back in the dot-com boom era most of the big companies had Aeron chairs in the offices. This chair had become a symbol of the rise and fall of the dot-com industry in the late 1990s.

This chair looks really good and it is suitable for offices or even conference rooms. It was designed in 1994 by Don Chadwick and Bill Stumpf for greate comfort for people who sit long periods of time on the chair.
